Jessica and Christopher, a young couple from Benue State, are gearing up to exchange vows in a wedding ceremony set to take place in the Ushongo Local Government Area of the state on Thursday, March 21, 2024.


The news of their impending nuptials was shared by Facebook user Harry Nyam, a resident of Benue State, who posted photos of the couple alongside a congratulatory message.



Nyam expressed excitement about the upcoming wedding and extended well wishes to the couple and their community, stating, “Tomorrow we will all be in Mbagwaza for Christopher and Jessica. Age is just a number. Congrats my Ushongo people. Hanma Jessica yo yina nan ga oo.”



However, the tender age of the bride and groom is one that is raising concern among stakeholders over the propriety of the two starting a family.
